Air Moldova airline has extended the suspension of its flights again: until September 14 inclusive.

The company announced this on its website, noting that all passengers will receive email alerts with options to change the flight date or refund. "The airline continues to process all incoming requests for refunds for canceled flights. Passengers who purchased tickets online on the airline's official website will receive a refund upon request to the card used to pay for the ticket. Passengers who purchased tickets from accredited agencies of the airline will be able to receive a refund after the resumption of commercial and operational activities of the airline", the airline informs. As previously reported by InfoMarket, Air Moldova announced in early May 2023 the suspension of flights and ticket sales and the intention to carry out an accelerated restructuring of the company in order to save it from bankruptcy. The company made such a decision in order to attract external investments (at that time it was about $50 mln), which would allow it to solve financial problems and replenish its own fleet. Initially, the company announced the suspension of ticket sales from May 2 to May 15, but this period has since been extended. // 22.08.2023 - InfoMarket
