According to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, the name of Eugen Doga may arouse interest and curiosity among foreign tourists and visitors, helping to strengthen the country's cultural image. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development emphasized that Eugen Doga was a figure respected by the whole society, regardless of political or ethnic views, and that renaming the Chisinau airport in his honor could be a factor in national unity and shared pride.
