Oleg Tofilat, director of the state-owned company "Railways of Moldova" (CFM), has tendered his resignation.
He confirmed this information to journalists on Monday, noting that he submitted the application to the Public Property Agency. He refused to talk about the reasons for his resignation, noting that he will write about everything later on his social network page. According to some media outlets, citing their sources in CFM, Oleg Tofilat told his subordinates at a meeting on Monday that he was resigning, making it clear that if his resignation was not accepted, he would talk tough with the authorities to help him solve the company's problems, and if his resignation was accepted, he would leave his position. The day before Oleg Tofilat said that no one pressured him, did not ask or demanded him to resign from his position, and everything he does, he does of his own free will. The head of CFM wrote earlier in social network that in fact the problems of the enterprise are quite solvable, but the government has the tools, not him. "The task of a responsible manager is to speed up the processes as much as possible. And the most harmful thing for everyone in the current situation is slowness," emphasized the director of CFM. // 29.01.2024 – InfoMarket
