The State Road Administration reported this, noting that while visiting this construction site, they topographic and geodetic works, the construction of embankments and the transfer of utilities were checked. The restoration on this road has been divided into two sections. The site, which is in the process of renovation, crosses the city of Hincesti, the village of Sarata-Galbena of the Hincesti district and the city of Leova, the settlements of Cneazevca, Sarata Noua, Hanasenii Noi, Leova district and the city of Cantemir. “Improving traffic conditions on the national highway will provide infrastructure development, citizens' access to social institutions and flood protection measures in some settlements,” the State Road Administration said. The contract signed with the Turkish company OZKA Insaat at the end of February 2020 provides for the reconstruction of the existing road network, repair of 9 bridges and 57 small bridges. The contractor pledged to complete the work by the end of February 2023.
