Moldova: more than 30,000 pensioners will receive a one-time allowance of 2,300 lei
Prime Minister Dorin Recean announced this at the beginning of a government meeting, noting that the government is building a European Moldova and takes care of the elderly people. He recalled that starting from 2021, the authorities increased the minimum pension by 143%, from 1,143 lei to 2,778 lei. “We know that we have to make even more efforts to help the elderly. The average pension has almost doubled, from 2067 to 3926 lei, and we realize that we need to work even harder and make efforts. Now we have a special category of pensioners, in particular those who have worked a lot, more than 40 years, but their pensions are still small. Today, we will adopt a decision that will affect about 30,000 people, to whom we will offer a lump-sum benefit of 2,300 lei,” Prime Minister said. // 09.10.2024 – InfoMarket
