Starting July 1, the retirement age for women was once again increased by six months, to 60 years and six months.
Let us remind that the retirement age for women started to be increased in 2017, annually being increased by six months. According to the National Social Insurance Comoany (CNAS), the increase in the retirement age for women will last until 2028, until it reaches 63 years. For women who have given birth to or raised 5 or more children under the age of 8, the retirement age has been reduced by 3 years and amounts to 57 years and 6 months from July 1. The full period of payment of social insurance contributions (official service) for women is 33 years and 6 months. According to the CNAS, from July 1, 2023, early retirement for long service requires at least 33 years and 6 months of insurance experience (3 years more than the standard length of service). At the same time, the retirement age for men remains unchanged at 63 years, while the contribution period is 34 years.
