The annual contribution of compulsory state social insurance in a fixed amount in 2023 may increase by 14.5% - from 12,838 to 14,700 lei.

This is provided for by the draft state social insurance budget for 2023, submitted for public consultations. In particular, it is proposed to establish 14,700 lei for payers of mandatory contributions to the State Social Insurance Fund on the basis of an individual agreement concluded with the National Social Insurance Fund. For individual owners or tenants of agricultural land, cultivating land, the fixed fee to the National Social Insurance fund in 2023 may also increase by 14.5% - from 3,270 to 3,744 lei, but not less than 1/12 of the corresponding amounts monthly. The contribution to the State Social Insurance Fund for persons engaged in independent activities in the field of justice is proposed to be increased from 27,481 to 27,772 lei (+1.1%). Penalty for late payment of compulsory state social insurance contributions will remain at the current level - in the amount of 0.1% of the debt for each day of delay.// 06.12.2022 — InfoMarket
