Citizens can find out the category of energy vulnerability assigned to them in their personal account on the website compensatii.gov.md.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection announced that citizens will also be notified of the assigned category of vulnerability via SMS to a mobile phone and to the email address specified in the application. According to the previously approved rules, the EV category is assigned to residential consumers based on a coefficient calculated as a percentage of the ratio between energy costs and income available to pay for energy. Consumers are assigned 5 EV categories: very high, high, medium, low, invulnerable. This mechanism provides a more targeted distribution of compensation. Places of consumption not registered by the applicants in the information system compensatii.gov.md will automatically be assigned the medium category of energy vulnerability for November of the current year, and from December - the low category of vulnerability. The ministry reminds that unregistered households can still register in the system and apply for compensation, however, for applications submitted after November 25, compensation will be provided starting in December. As before, citizens can fill out an application on their own or seek help from a social worker or librarians. The government's "green line" is also available for consultations: 0 8000 5000 / support@compensatii.gov.md. It is noted that citizens can correct the information in the application only after submitting a reasoned request to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. Recall that compensation for the growth of tariffs for natural gas, heat and electricity for the period from November 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023 is provided as part of the state program Ajutor la contor. The amount of compensation, depending on the established category of EV, can be found on the website of the Ministry. // 01.12.2022 — InfoMarket
