
In the II quarter of 2022, the average monthly accrued salary in Moldova amounted to 10,376.2 lei, an increase of 14.7% compared to the same period in 2021.
At the same time, taking into account rising inflation, the average salary in the second quarter of 2022 decreased by 11.3%. As the National Bureau of Statistics told InfoMarket, in the second quarter of 2022, the average salary in the public sector amounted to 8,712.9 lei (+12% compared to the same period in 2021), and in the real sector of the economy - 10,960.4 lei (+15.4%). The highest salaries in the II quarter of 2022 were received by workers in the ICT sector - an average of 26,517.9 lei (+ 21.9% compared to the same period in 2021), financial and insurance industries - 20,401.2 lei (+ 22.2%), enterprises for the production and supply of electricity, gas, water, air conditioning - 15,010.1 lei (+5.3%), for specialists in the field of scientific and technical activities - 12,668.9 lei (+10.9%), in the field of public administration and defense, compulsory social insurance - 11,790.6 lei (+14.8%), in the healthcare and social protection system - 11,730.3 lei (+1.3%). The lowest salaries remain in the field of tourist accommodation and public catering - 6,658.2 (+28.4%), as well as in agriculture, forestry and fishing - 6,667.2 lei (+28.1%). In the II quarter of 2022, the average salary of workers in the field of arts, recreation and entertainment - 7,258.9 lei (+17.7%), in the field of administrative services and ancillary activities amounted to 7,759.6 lei (+14.6%), in the field of transport and storage services - 8,363.9 lei (+16.9%); in the field of real estate transactions - 8,460.6 lei (+15.8%); in the education system - 8,288.6 lei (+9.2%); in construction - 9,138.4 lei (+16%); in the field of trade, repair of cars and motorcycles - 9,246.1 lei (+15.8%). In the industrial sector, salaries averaged 9,533.9 lei (+16.3%), including in the processing industry - 8,944.8 lei (+19.9%); at enterprises of water supply, sewerage, waste treatment and processing and restoration work - 8,845.6 lei (+6.7%); in the extractive industry - 8,550.2 lei (+14.4%), and the highest was in enterprises for the production and supply of electricity, gas, water, air conditioning - 15,010.1 lei (+5.3%). // 29.08.2022 — InfoMarket.
