At the same time, compared to the first quarter of 2020, salaries in Chisinau increased by 11.3%. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in January-March 2021, the average salary in the budgetary sector of Chisinau was 9374.9 lei (+ 4.8% compared to the same period in 2020), in the real sector of the municipality's economy - 10094, 3 lei (+ 12.6%). The highest salaries in Chisinau during this period were received by workers in the sphere of public administration and defense, as well as compulsory social insurance - 12,066.2 lei (+ 3.4%), and the lowest - in agriculture, forestry and fish farming in Chisinau municipality - 5,521.2 (+ 8.9%).
