Almost 40,000 households across the country have reduced their electricity bills by up to 30% over the past two years thanks to the government's EcoVoucher program

As reported by the Ministry of Energy, this initiative helps families replace old appliances with modern, energy-efficient ones. Since the beginning of 2025, with the support of Norway, the EcoVoucher program has provided support to 25,187 families, who received vouchers worth 6,000 lei to purchase refrigerators and washing machines that meet energy efficiency standards and the European standard of conformity (CE).
