The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) reported that, at the same time, in value terms, its purchases during the period increased by 2.2%, to 1 billion 292.3 million lei, against the background of a 4.6% average increase in its purchase price, from 130.7 to 136.7 baht per kWh. At the same time, the volume of electricity purchased from domestic producers in physical terms in July-September 2023, compared to the same period of the previous year, decreased by 76.4%, to 69.7 million kWh of electricity, while in monetary terms - decreased by 57.7%, to 195.5 million lei. At the same time, 875.5 million kWh worth 1 billion 096.8 million lei were purchased from Romania, Ukraine and Moldavskaya GRES in the third quarter of 2023, down by 3.6% in physical terms and by 5.2% in value terms, relative to the same period of 2022. According to ANRE, in particular, in July-September 2023, Premier Energy purchased 701.6 million kWh of electricity (+0.2% compared to the same period of 2022) worth 961.5 million lei (+3.3%), FEE Nord - 239.2 million kWh (-9%) worth 324.7 million lei (-1.6%), other suppliers - 4.4 million kWh (+9.5%) worth 6.2 million lei (+51.1%). In particular, Premier Energy bought 38.6 million kWh (-82%) worth 129.1 million lei (-61.5%) from domestic producers in Q3 2023, and 663.1 million kWh (-1.3%) worth 832.4 million lei (-2.8%) from Romania, Ukraine and Moldavskaya GRES. For its part, FEE Nord purchased 26.7 million kWh (-65.4%) worth 60.3 million lei (-50.7%) from domestic producers, and 212.5 million kWh (-10.1%) worth 264.4 million lei (-12.3%) from Romania, Ukraine and MoldGRES.
