NAER plans to reduce the electricity tariff for Premier Energy's household consumers by 51 bani (-12.4%) to 3.59 lei per kWh

This follows from a draft resolution of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER), prepared and published by the energy regulator. It should be noted that Premier Energy had previously proposed reducing electricity tariffs for residential consumers whose installations are connected to low-voltage electricity distribution networks (0.4 kV) by approximately 4% — from 4.1 to 3.94 lei per kWh. NAER proposes to reduce the tariff by 12.4% to 3.59 lei per kWh. At the same time, differentiated tariffs are provided for owners of “smart meters” depending on the time of electricity consumption, which will be 3.89 lei per kWh from 7:00 to 23:00 and 3.31 lei per kWh from 23:00 to 7:00. The decision on electricity tariffs for residential consumers of Premier Energy must be reviewed and approved by the Management Board of NAER. Electricity tariffs in Moldova were last changed in January 2025. The new electricity tariffs for Premier Energy and FEE Nord consumers came into effect on January 10. At that time, the cost of electricity for Premier Energy residential consumers whose electrical installations are connected to low-voltage distribution networks (0.4 kW) was increased 1.8 times, from 2.34 to 4.1 lei per 1 kW/h. // 24.07.2025 — InfoMarket.
