As reported by the Ministry of Energy, this is provided for by the agreement signed by the Soros Foundation in Moldova and the Ministry of Energy of Moldova for cooperation within the framework of the project "Local partnership for increasing energy efficiency in social services", financed by the European Union in Moldova and implemented jointly with Keystone Moldova and the Social Innovation Fund in Moldova. The agreement will also support local campaigns for responsible energy consumption. As noted by the Ministry of Energy, Moldova has committed to annually renewing 3% of the total area of public buildings in the country, starting from January 1, 2024. "This project allows citizens to experience, perhaps abstract, energy efficiency figures, which the Ministry of Energy is guided by, in practice, by reducing bills and improving the quality of social services," the Ministry of Energy noted. // 14.07.2025 – InfoMarket.
