Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord has proposed reducing the electricity tariff for household consumers by 9.8% to 4.22 lei per kWh

This is stated in a letter sent to the National Agency for Energy Regulation. In particular, Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord proposes to set a new electricity tariff for end consumers whose installations are connected to low-voltage electricity distribution networks (0.4 kV) at 4.22 lei per 1 kWh instead of the current tariff of 4.68 lei per kWh, i.e. 46 bani (9.8%) less. The last time FEE Nord's electricity prices for residential consumers changed was in January 2025, when they were increased by 64.8% - from 2.84 to 4.68 lei per 1 kWh. FEE Nord supplies electricity to consumers in northern Moldova.
