Constantin Borosan has been appointed one of the directors of the Management Board of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER)

The decision was adopted by parliament at a plenary session on July 3. It will come into force on September 1. Constantin Borosan's candidacy for the vacant position of one of the directors of the National Agency for Energy Regulation was proposed after a public competition. Eight candidates were admitted to the interview, and Constantin Borosan received the highest score. Constantin Borosan has been State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy since 2023, responsible for electricity, natural gas, petroleum products, heat energy and cogeneration, infrastructure, energy markets and energy security. He was also State Secretary for Energy at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development in 2021-2023. In addition, in 2020-2023, Constantin Borosan was a research fellow at the Institute of Energy, and for more than 12 years he was a lecturer at the Faculty of Energy and Electrical Engineering of the Technical University of Moldova. The NAER Management Board consists of five directors. According to the law, they are appointed by parliament on a competitive basis.
