
Dorin Junghietu became Moldova’s new Energy Minister

He also set three main priorities for the Ministry: to ensure an uninterrupted supply of natural gas and electricity to citizens; to complete the construction and put into operation of the Vulcanesti-Chisinau power transmission line within the set deadlines, as well as to shorten the implementation cycles of investment projects in the energy production sector, including in the renewable energy sources and in the energy efficiency field. Maia Sandu also said that the main expectation of the citizens is the completion of major projects in the energy infrastructure, so that Moldova is no longer subjected to blackmail in the energy sector, and the citizens can benefit from energy at the most favorable prices.
