The Cabinet of Ministers of Moldova approved a mechanism for partial compensation of the difference in electricity prices for institutions and population from settlements in the Security Zone and the Transnistrian region

As reported by the Bureau of Reintegration Policies of Moldova, the relevant decision was taken by the Commission for Emergency Situations in order to support enterprises and communities in these regions in the fields of agriculture, forestry, fisheries and processing industry. The adopted measure is aimed at mitigating the financial consequences for institutions and population resulting from the increase in regulated electricity prices. "All these actions reflect the strong commitment of the constitutional authorities to support the residents of the Security Zone and the Transnistrian region through specific measures and interventions that provide effective solutions that meet current needs. Chisinau confirms that it will continue to take measures and interventions in the interests of the residents of this perimeter and expresses its readiness to accept requests that include lists of assistance needs in order to overcome the current crisis and ensure a dignified life for all affected citizens," the Bureau of Reintegration Policies of Moldova emphasized. // 21.01.2025 — InfoMarket.
