Moldovagaz has named the prices it used to issue invoices, including compensations for February, when the tariffs were reduced.
The company said that, in particular, due to the entry into force on February 23 of the new regulated prices for natural gas supply, approved by ANRE's decision of February 21, the regulated prices valid before and after February 23 serve as the basis for issuing invoices, including compensations for February (2 calculation periods). Moldovagaz specified that the prices for household consumers of natural gas in the context of public service obligation, who benefit from compensations, approved by the Government Decision of February 21, are set depending on the assigned energy vulnerability category. In particular, for the extreme vulnerability category, the price per 1 cubic meter of gas, including VAT, before and after February 23 was 12 lei, for very high vulnerability - 12.2 lei also before and after February 23, for high vulnerability - 12.4 lei in both cases, for medium vulnerability category - 12.6 lei in both cases. At the same time, for low vulnerability the price before February 23 was 17 lei, and after February 23 - 14.47 lei, for primary vulnerability - before February 23 - 18.07 lei, and after February 23 - 14.47 lei, as in the case of no vulnerability (18.07; 14.47 lei). To check the amount of compensation for natural gas, based on the category of vulnerability, the consumer can use the online calculator on the website of Moldovagaz. The tool is available both on its homepage and in the "Consumers" section. For more information, household consumers can call the Moldovagaz contact center at the single number 1304. According to the Moldovan Government Decision of November 22, 2023 "On approval of compensated volume and prices/tariffs for household consumers by energy vulnerability category for the period November 2023-March 2024", the maximum compensated volume of natural gas is set at 180 cubic meters per month for one consumption point. //13.03.2024 - InfoMarket.
