Energocom asks NAER to reduce the regulated price for electricity supplied to them as the central electricity supplier by 36% - to 2.31 lei/kWh.
This is stated in the request that the state-owned company sent for consideration to the National Agency for Energy Regulation. In particular, Energocom proposed to reduce the regulated price for electricity supplied by the company by 1.3 lei (-36%), from 3.61 to 2.31 lei/kWh (excluding VAT). It is noteworthy that earlier Energocom asked NAER to reduce the regulated price for electricity supplied to them as the central electricity supplier by 8% - to 3.32 lei/kWh. It's about a mix of electricity produced by Termoelectrica, CET-Nord, as well as wind, photovoltaic and biogas plants. Energocom is the central supplier of electricity and purchases all electricity generated by local conventional fuel sources and generated by renewable electricity sources. In accordance with the quotas established by NAER, the central supplier brings it to wholesale suppliers and other types of suppliers for delivery to end consumers. Earlier, Energocom director Victor Binzari noted that the company will ask to reduce the regulated price for the electricity supplied to them, since there is a clear methodology that says that if its profit is above 5-6%, then it is necessary to reduce the tariff so that there are no positive deviations. // 01.03.2024 — InfoMarket
