
A consortium of American companies led by Broad Street Capital is exploring investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector in Moldova.
This was discussed during a meeting held by the Minister of Finance of Moldova, Petru Rotaru, and the executive director of Broad Street Capital Group, Alexander Gordin. According to the Ministry of Finance, the discussions concerned investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector in Moldova and the current situation in this area. The parties also discussed ways in which potential investors can support Moldova in implementing investment mechanisms related to renewable energy projects, as well as the authorities' efforts to improve the investment climate to attract investors. During the dialogue, the Minister of Finance expressed gratitude for the ongoing support provided by the United States to the progress and development of Moldova, as well as the improvement of the investment environment in the country. In this context, the parties confirmed their commitment to support the promotion of investments and support initiatives in the renewable energy sector with the aim of sustainable development of Moldova.
