In Moldova, gasoline prices in recent weeks have decreased by 10.65%, compared to the maximum values in September, while diesel prices have decreased by 4.47%.
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) reported this, noting that Platts quotations for both gasoline and diesel fuel continue to decline, and this trend is reflected in the level of fuel prices displayed at gas stations. As noted by ANRE, Platts quotes have fallen below $800 per ton of gasoline and to around $900 per ton of diesel fuel over the last period, which has reduced the price of both fuels substantially. The total decrease in fuel prices, compared to the maximum values in September this year, amounted to 2.87 lei per liter of gasoline COR 95 and 1.11 lei per liter of standard diesel fuel, which represents a decrease of 10.65% and 4.47%, respectively. For the next three days (14.10.2023 -16.10.2023), ANRE set the maximum retail prices of basic standard oil products as follows: COR 95 gasoline - 24.06 lei per liter (-21 bani); standard diesel - 23.71 lei per liter (-18 bani). ANRE said it continues to closely follow the developments on international oil exchanges and assured consumers of the correctness of the daily calculation of prices set for fuel purchases. // 13.10.2023 – InfoMarket
