ANRE warned Rotalin Gaz Trading that, in case it fails to comply with its legal obligations and the repeated orders issued, the energy regulator will initiate the procedure to suspend its license.
In particular, the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) recalled that, in the context of the previously published press release of Rotalin Gaz Trading, in which the company declared its inability to fulfill its public service obligations, starting from October 1, ANRE issued an order, by which the supplier was warned against interrupting the legal tasks of ensuring the supply of natural gas to end consumers at the price regulated by ANRE. In this regard, Rotalin Gaz Trading was ordered to submit to the agency a confirmation of the execution of the issued order and to publish on its official website information on the continuity of natural gas supply activities at regulated prices. Taking into account the fact that Rotalin Gaz Trading did not respond to ANRE's order, on October 28 it was promptly issued a repeated injunction with the same requirements, to be executed within 1 day. ANRE considers that Rotalin Gaz Trading is not in a situation when it is impossible to carry out gas supply activities, but actually does not want to comply with the mechanism of reimbursement of overcharged tariff deviations towards its end users. In addition to the repeated order, the National Energy Regulatory Agency has publicly warned Rotalin Gaz Trading that in case it fails to comply with its legal liabilities and the issued orders, the procedure for suspension of its license will be initiated. At the same time, ANRE will impose financial sanctions on Rotalin Gaz Trading for willful interruption of natural gas supplies to consumers. ANRE assures that it will take all measures to prevent the interruption of natural gas supplies to consumers, as well as to prevent the infringement of their rights to fair, transparent and non-discriminatory regulated prices. // 29.09.2023 - InfoMarket
