
Moldova: Natural gas consumption volume in June 2023 amounted to 14.7 million cubic meters, which is 42.8% lower than in the same period of 2022.
According to Moldovagaz press service, at the same time, compared to May 2023, this indicator decreased by 8.9 million cubic meters (-37.7%). As of June 30, 2023, household consumers repaid 97.6% of the invoiced amounts for 2023 consumption, which is by 0.4 percentage points lower than in the same period last year. In the case of non-household consumers (legal entities), the share of payments reached 96.6%, which is by 3 percentage points lower than in the same period of 2022. In the case of enterprises from the heating sector, the payment rate amounted to 95.8%, which is by 4.1 percentage points lower than in June 2022. During the reporting period, 927 consumption points were disconnected from the network, whose owners owed 6.7 million lei to the supplier. At the same time, 341 consumers were switched to advance payment due to the fact that they were previously suspended for non-payment of natural gas consumed on time. According to Moldovagaz, as of June 30, 2023, the payment level for natural gas consumed in 2023 covers 96.9% and amounts to 8 billion 946 million lei. // 13.07.2023 – InfoMarket
