
Tariffs for natural gas for household consumers in Moldova in January-June 2023 increased by an average of 38.51%, and over the past 12 months - by 11.06%.
This follows from the new data on inflation, which was presented by the National Bureau of Statistics. As noted, at the same time, electricity tariffs in June 2023, compared with December 2022, decreased by 28.86%, but increased by 25.3%, compared with June 2022. Herewith, district heating tariffs in June 2023 increased by 142.09% compared to December 2022, and increased by 67.36% compared to June last year. In general, tariffs for housing and communal services in June 2023, compared to December 2022, increased by 20.34%, and compared to June 2022, they increased by 51.19%. Tariffs for water and sewerage services for the indicated periods increased by 15.01% and 15.07%, respectively. Tariffs for passenger transportation in June 2023, compared to December 2022, increased by 13.42%, and compared to June 2022 - by 43.73%.
