In Moldova, on May 30, there were power outages in the south and in the central part of the country, including Chisinau municipality, due to accidents on power lines.
This was announced by the Ministry of Energy of Moldova, noting that this morning the high-voltage line 400 kV Isaccea-Vulcanesti was disconnected due to ongoing work. Also today, for unknown reasons, the high-voltage line 330 kV Balti-Dnestrovsc was disconnected. As noted in the Ministry of Energy, the line was immediately reconnected, but due to the lack of load in the system, it failed, leaving the center and south of the country without electricity. Moldelectrica specialists are working on a phased reconnection of the system, and this process will last up to 2 hours. Later, the Ministry of Energy reported that the reason for the shutdown of the 330 kV power line Balti-Dnestrovsc was problems in the Vinnitsa region of Ukraine. In the meantime, electricity supply in Moldova has been restored on all 110 kV lines. Distribution companies must reconnect consumers to medium and low voltage lines. //30.05.2023 – InfoMarket.
