Energocom extended the electricity supply contract with MoldGRES and will purchase it in March at the previous price of $73 per MWh.
As noted in the message of the state company Energocom, in particular, according to forecasts, it is planned to purchase about 244 thousand MWh from the Moldavskaya GRES in March, which is 88% of energy demand, excluding thermal power plants on the right bank of the Dniester and renewable energy sources. The purchase price of electricity from MGRES remains the same as in the previous 3 months - $73 per MWh. At the same time, Energocom will continue to purchase electricity from the Romanian company SN Nuclearelectrica up to 30 MWh during the day and 10 MWh at night. In total, in March, electricity, which is projected to be purchased from SN Nuclearelectrica, will be about 18 thousand MWh (6.5% of the need). The price of energy, according to this contract, will be, as before, 450 Romanian lei per MWh (approximately 91 euros/MWh). Similarly, it is assumed that during peak hours, another 5% of electricity will be purchased from the Romanian exchange OPCOM. In January, the weighted average price of MWh purchased from OPCOM was 188.04 euros, and in February until the 27th it was 163.5 euros. //27.02.2023 — InfoMarket.
