11 Moldovan eligible producers of energy from renewable sources have been deprived of their status by the ANRE decision.
The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) informs that this decision was taken by ANRE Management Board due to a failure to provide appropriate performance guarantees. In particular, in accordance with the provisions of the normative acts in force, the producers of energy from renewable sources were to provide a guarantee of proper execution of the contract and to present to the energy regulator the confirmation of the guarantee of proper execution within 15 working days from the date of publication of the announcement on the subject, and the deadline expired on August 29. Thus, based on the provisions of clause 33 of the Regulations on confirming the status of an eligible producer, failure to provide proof of the transfer of the guarantee of proper performance of the contract within the specified period is the basis for revoking the status of an eligible producer and transferring the participation guarantee to the state budget. Thus, the amount of 254944 lei shall be transferred to the state budget. The capacities that became available as a result of revocation of the status of eligible producer - 5,45 MW (on land) and 2,23 MW (on buildings) will be distributed by analyzing the applications registered with ANRE, according to the "first come - first served" principle. ANRE notes that 25 applications (22 applications for on-ground installations and 3 for buildings) are pending for Eligible Producer status for a total of 19.03 MW (of which 18.18 MW on-ground and 0.85 MW on-buildings). A list of applicants whose eligible producer status has been confirmed, as well as other useful information, is available on the ANRE website. // 05.09.2022 – InfoMarket
