Diesel fuel supplies to Moldova increased by 26.6% to 155.02 thousand tons in the first quarter of 2022 as compared to the same period of 2021.

The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) informed that, the diesel fuel, as well as petrol, was imported in January-March, 2022 mainly from Romania, which accounted for 64.5% of the total volume of diesel fuel in the mentioned period (in the same period a year ago – 82.62%). Russia's share was 25.4% (14.11% a year earlier), Bulgaria - 7% (3.25% a year earlier), India - 3.2% (no data are given for it for the same period last year).
