The average purchase price of natural gas in 2021, Moldovagaz took into account while proposing for approval the new tariff for consumers, is $430.15 per 1,000 cubic meters.
As noted in the company’s materials, transferred to the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE), in general, the volume of gas purchases this year for consumers on the right bank of the Dniester will amount to 1,177.01 million gas. The tariff includes an exchange rate of 17.9 lei per $1. Taking into account the significant increase in purchase prices for natural gas, Moldovagaz sent ANRE a request to increase 2.3 times the average tariff for the supply of natural gas to end consumers in 2021 - from 4128 to 9396 lei per 1,000 cubic meters. As follows from the materials of the company, in particular, the tariff for natural gas for end consumers receiving gas from low-pressure gas distribution networks (household consumers, households) is proposed to be increased 2.4 times - from 4298 to 10260 lei per 1,000 cubic meters, medium pressure - 2.2 times - from 4018 to 8649 lei, high pressure 2.1 times - from 3910 to 8331 lei per 1,000 cubic meters. In the case of gas transmission networks, it is proposed to increase the tariff 2.8 times - from 2613 to 7834 lei per 1,000 cubic meters at the entry points, and from 2895 to 8115 lei at the exit points. The main factor that led to the need to revise the tariffs was a significant increase in purchase prices. It is planned that the new final tariff for natural gas at regulated prices will be approved by ANRE during an open meeting on November 9. // 08.11.2021 - InfoMarket
