This is provided for by a new order of the Commission for Emergency Situations. According to the document, Moldovagaz will send a request to the National Energy Regulatory Agency by November 5 to adjust the regulated prices for the supply of natural gas in accordance with the Methodology for the Calculation and Application of Regulated Tariffs and Natural Gas Prices, and ANRE will have to establish by November 10 new preliminary rates that will apply from November 1. It was agreed that at the same time the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will prepare a set of measures to compensate gas bills for certain categories of citizens. The Ministry of Finance will initiate the procedure for adjusting the budget in accordance with the current legislation and will submit the amendments to the government by November 11.
