NAER approved an additional agreement between SE Moldelectrica and Moldavian State District Power Plant on the extension of electricity supplies until March 31, 2022.

According to the National Energy Regulatory Agency, the volume of contracted electricity is 61 million kWh, and its price is $ 53.5 per MWh. An additional agreement between Moldelectrica and Moldavian State District Power Plant was signed on September 30 to extend the term of the contract for the supply of electricity until March 31, 2022. As noted by the energy regulator, in addition, at the request of Moldovatransgaz, the NAER Administrative Council agreed to extend the period for considering the case on the application of financial sanctions for the operator's failure to comply with the gas transmission Moldovatransgaz system of obligations established by the law on ensuring independence from the vertically integrated gas company - Moldovagaz. This issue will be considered at the meeting of the NAER Administrative Council on November 1. In accordance with national legislation, the amount of financial sanctions can range from 5 to 10% of annual sales. At the current meeting, the NAER Administrative Council also approved the investment plan for 2021 of the license holder Operator Regional Apă-Canal Hîncești JSC, which includes investment projects worth about 238.5 thousand lei.
