ANRE asked the law enforcement agencies to check the information disseminated in the media about the “gray” market of oil products in Moldova.
In particular, the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) stated that recently some public opinion makers have published a lot of information in the public space about alleged serious violations in the oil products sector. The materconcerns fictitious sales of fuel to agricultural producers and transport workers for their own consumption, and it is noted that about 46% of diesel fuel is sold on the territory of Moldova, followed by “gray” resale, fictitious sales in Transnistria, as well as fictitious exports to Ukraine. In order to exclude any erroneous interpretations in this regard in the future, ANRE applied to the competent authorities - the Customs Service, the State Tax Service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Information and Security Service (SIS) - to check the disseminated information and take all necessary measures in accordance with the law. // 16.08.2021 - InfoMarket.
