As the press service of the parliament reported, their candidacies were approved on July 23 by the parliamentary commission on foreign policy and European integration. In particular, it agreed with the appointment of Anatolie Vangheli as Ambassador of Moldova to the United Arab Emirates, Victoria Rosa as Ambassador to Austria, Mihaela Mocanu as Ambassador to Latvia, Eugeniu Caras as Ambassador to Estonia, Gabriela Moraru as Ambassador to the Czech Republic and Oleg Nica as Ambassador to Italy. According to the Diplomatic Service Act, proposals for the appointment of an ambassador are submitted to the government by the Minister of Foreign Affairs after consultation with the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration.
