
The regular, spring session of the Moldovan parliament began on February 1.
According to the parliament’s press service, during the day, many parliamentary commissions hold their meetings. Among the projects which will be discussed there is a bill on collective financing services (crowdfunding), an initiative on disciplinary responsibility of judges and judicial inspection activity, a bill on Moldova's accession to the Convention on Facilitation of International Maritime Traffic, a bill on ecological production and marking of ecological products. MPs will also consider a bill to change the conditions for establishing and providing social assistance and benefits for the cold period of the year. Also on February 1, the Standing Bureau will meet to set the date of the first plenary session of parliament for the spring session, as well as approved its agenda. According to the Rules of Procedure of Parliament, the highest legislative body meets for two regular sessions a year. The spring session begins in February and lasts until the end of July at most.
