This is what the Restoring Ecosystems to Prevent Marine Pollution (RE-MAP) project, launched on Tuesday, aims to do. The initiative is funded by a $7.9 million grant from the Global Environment Facility (World Bank Group). The project aims to restore forest ecosystems, pastures, and wetlands. Activities will cover 15 districts of the country, including Soroca, Floresti, Orhei, Criuleni, Anenii Noi, and Stefan Voda.
