This was stated by the Prime Minister during his speech at the 11th Diaspora Congress, in the section on European integration, which he attended along with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. According to him, at the same time, Moldovan citizens from the Diaspora have access to programs that provide logistical, informational, and financial support for returning home and participating in the work of state institutions, civil society organizations, or private enterprises in Moldova. “We are one big family, wherever we live, work or study, but we need the experience, knowledge and energy of every citizen, especially on the path to EU accession,” the head of government stressed. When asked about priority areas in which the Diaspora could invest or start a business, Prime Minister said that Moldova is currently experiencing a favorable period for investment in the IT, logistics, energy, pharmaceutical, and electronics sectors. Dorin Recean emphasized that the government provides entrepreneurs with the necessary support. In addition, the following topics were discussed with representatives of the Diaspora: Moldova's development plan and reform program, support programs for citizens abroad, civil servants' salaries, energy efficiency, and the dangers of disinformation and fake news.
