A record number of applications have been received for participation in the “European Courtyard in Chisinau” program: its budget has been increased from 100 million to 250 million lei

According to Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Vladimir Bolea, 502 associations of Chisinau residents submitted applications to participate in the government program, which closed on May 9. He said that the full list of beneficiaries, to be determined by an evaluation committee, is scheduled to be published on July 2. According to the Minister, despite the increase in the program's budget, the limit of 5 million lei per project remains unchanged. As a reminder, the government program “European Courtyard in Chisinau” is aimed at rehabilitating the courtyards of apartment buildings in the capital and its suburbs. The money for its implementation has been allocated by the government through the Budget +PLUS, including financial support from the European Union. Each selected courtyard can receive up to 5 million lei for the following works: repair of access roads and stairs, modern street lighting, parking lots, playgrounds, street furniture, ramps, windows in the stairwell of the building, etc. For more information about the program, visit: https://www.curtea-europeana.md. // 13.05.2025 – InfoMarket.
