Moldova is interested in attracting new Czech investments in energy, agriculture, and environmental protection

This was stated by Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean during a meeting in Chisinau with Czech President Petr Pavel. As reported by the government press service, the parties discussed the possibilities of expanding Moldovan-Czech cooperation and joint initiatives in areas of mutual interest, in particular, deepening relations in the energy sector, agriculture, environmental protection, as well as in the trade and economic sphere. According to the Moldovan Prime Minister, bilateral trade is growing, and the Czech Republic is an important market for Moldovan wines. The Czech side also supports our country through social projects and projects to strengthen the capacity for intervention in emergency situations. Thanks to Czech assistance, rescuers from Moldova are better prepared for rescue operations. At the same time, the Czech Republic remains a strong supporter of our country's European path. "We are grateful for this assistance and will continue to work together to bring Moldova closer to the European Union and build a safer and more prosperous future for our citizens," Dorin Recean said. The parties also discussed the possibilities of strengthening investment relations and attracting more Czech companies interested in investing in our country, especially in the energy, agriculture or environmental protection sectors.// 20.03.2025 — InfoMarket
