Parliament's press service reported this, noting that this was stated by the members of the International Monetary Fund mission led by Alina Iancu, who visited Moldova last week. During the visit, the representatives of the IMF delegation met, among others, the chairperson of the parliamentary committee on law, appointments and immunities, Veronica Rosca, and the chairman of the committee on economy, budget and finance, Radu Marian. The topics of discussions concerned the judicial reform agenda, the legislation on anti-corruption courts and legislative changes related to the NBM. At the same time, the members of the IMF delegation welcomed Moldova's progress in terms of enhancing energy security and diversifying the energy supply sources. It was noted that, despite external pressures, crises and the devastating consequences of the war in Ukraine, significant progress is being made in private investment, reflecting growing confidence in the country's economic potential. Regarding the anti-corruption agenda, which is being worked on extensively, it was noted that it is important to strengthen the rule of law and increase government transparency, indicating greater economic stability or business-friendly policies. // 18.03.2025 - InfoMarket.
