The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported that, in particular, the investment profile of Moldova, the current developments in the economy and the ways in which the government increases the country's investment attractiveness were presented by Dorin Recean during discussions with representatives of many leading international companies operating in the following fields: renewable energy, IT, agribusiness, financial services, consulting and logistics infrastructure. In particular, in a dialog with representatives of the world leader in the field of technologies for wind energy parks - the Danish company Vestas - Dorin Recean spoke about the situation in Moldova's energy sector and emphasized that the renewable energy covers an increasing part of the population's consumption. Prime Minister invited the company to develop wind energy projects in Moldova, adding that the government will constantly improve the legal framework and the incentives offered for these investments. At the meeting with representatives of the Dutch company Louis Dreyfus, which develops business in the agricultural sector, the sides paid special attention to the processing and marketing of cereals and oilseeds, analyzing the possibilities of developing partnership relations to improve the processing capacities of agri-food products in Moldova. The project also aims to implement advanced logistics and supply chain solutions for Moldovan agriculture. The development of the logistics infrastructure was also discussed during a meeting with the President of DP World Group, one of the world's leading providers of intelligent logistics solutions, specialized in freight logistics, port terminals, maritime transportation and free trade zones. Also, Moldovan Prime Minister met Helena Lersch, Vice-President of Public Policies for Emerging Markets of the TikTok platform, in Davos. The interlocutors talked about external influences on elections and concerns about hybrid methods of voter manipulation. The company expressed its readiness to cooperate with state authorities and non-governmental organizations in the context of the next elections. In the dialog with the leadership of the American company Palo Alto Networks, the growth of the IT sector in Moldova in recent years was mentioned. The possibility of opening an office of cybersecurity experts in Chisinau, improving the quality of the ICT infrastructure, as well as the qualification of human resources in Moldova in this segment were analyzed.
