Slovenia will share best practices in finance with Moldova and explore investment opportunities in strategic sectors of our country

This was stated by Slovenian Ambassador to our country Robert Kokalj at a meeting with Moldovan Finance Minister Victoria Belous. According to the Ministry of Finance, the main topics discussed during the meeting were strengthening bilateral relations between Moldova and Slovenia, as well as identifying opportunities for cooperation in taxation, investment and economic reforms. During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of developing joint cooperation programs in the financial and economic sphere, as well as deepening relations between the Ministry of Finance and the Center of Excellence in Finance (CEF) in Slovenia. Victoria Belous emphasized the crucial role of the partnership with Slovenia, given the country's experience in effectively managing fiscal policy and attracting European funding. At the same time, she emphasized the potential for expanding cooperation to support ongoing economic and financial reforms.
