
Citizens, companies and NGOs can take part in the Green Award 2025 competition
The American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova (AmCham Moldova), in partnership with the Future Technologies Activity (FTA), funded by USAID, Sweden and the UK, launched the Green Award 2025 - a competition dedicated to those who advance the vision of a sustainable economy and actively contribute to the fight against climate change. Participants are invited to tell about their sustainable initiatives that inspire change. "Make your sustainable initiatives known in the environmental community and become a leader in the green economy. Create valuable partnerships that will support the development and expansion of your innovative solutions. Be part of the change," the organizers write. Winners will be selected in 11 nominations: for outstanding achievements in green financing; for outstanding achievements in the field of circular economy; for outstanding achievements in energy efficiency; for outstanding achievements in water management; for outstanding achievements in green technology innovation and startups; for outstanding achievements in biodiversity conservation projects; for outstanding achievements in environmental education and campaigning; for outstanding achievements in e-mobility; for outstanding achievements in sustainable agriculture; for achievements in environmental leadership and for outstanding achievements in the unification of environmentally friendly practices. The competition is open to enterprises and organizations of various forms of ownership, as well as individuals. Eligibility criteria have been defined for each nomination. Applications for participation are accepted until January 31. The winners will be announced on March 13.
