As the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) reported, in particular, 3 years ago it launched an ambitious program to assist our country through institutional and structural reforms in Moldova (MISRA). This program was aimed at accelerating trade liberalization, creating an attractive investment climate, strengthening public-private linkages and promoting reforms in the financial sector. The impact of this initiative is underscored by the results achieved in 2022-2024. In particular, $7.81 million was saved by Moldova's public and private sectors by simplifying operations and procedures. According to USAID Moldova, in particular, 684 thousand hours are saved annually by companies due to the reduction of reporting tasks; 56.7 thousand hours are saved annually by contractors due to the efficiency of inspection procedures. Legislative measures supporting a favorable business environment were also adopted, 3 publicly accessible digital platforms were created and improved, transparency was increased, and interaction with citizens and the business community was facilitated. “USAID remains committed to supporting Moldova, helping to make the country an attractive destination for investment and business development.
