
The World Bank will assist in the process of developing policies and reforms to develop a sustainable economy in Moldova
This was discussed during a meeting between the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba and the World Bank delegation led by the World Bank Regional Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Antonella Bassani. Discussions between the parties concerned increasing support for Moldova in its development efforts. Dumitru Alaiba noted the priorities and important areas that the department is working on and which are related to attracting foreign investment, development of small and medium-sized enterprises, industrialization and implementation of the National Industrial Development Program for 2024-2028, digitalization, export promotion, quality infrastructure and "green" economics.
