Companies and business support associations can receive grants under the Future Technologies Activity project for the implementation and scaling up of innovations.
The Future Technologies Activity (FTA) program, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Sweden and the UK and implemented by Chemonics International, has announced a grant competition. Beneficiaries can be economic agents and business support organizations. Enterprises are provided with grants from $10 thousand to $50 thousand (for up to 12 months) to identify and scale up innovations that create added value by introducing know-how, new technologies, methods or products/services. The matter concerns digitalization and automation, the introduction of sustainable industrial production systems and green technologies in various sectors and industries, as well as projects to increase sustainability, including energy. Business support organizations that seek to use an innovative approach to develop entrepreneurship, create innovation ecosystems and increase competitiveness; expand connections with high value-added markets; build a high-performing, digital-first workforce; and advocate for improving the business ecosystem can receive grants from $20 thousand to $600 thousand (for 12-18 months). Grants will be awarded and used in accordance with USAID and U.S. Government regulations governing grant contracts and FTA's internal grant management policies.
