Bulgaria has announced a competition for grants as part of its official development assistance for Moldova for 2025.

Bulgaria has announced a competition for grants as part of its official development assistance for Moldova for 2025.

According to the Bulgarian Embassy in Moldova, grants of up to 70 thousand euros will be provided to improve the quality of education and healthcare, including improving the energy efficiency of buildings, modernizing equipment and updating processes, as well as supporting management efficiency, promoting cultural diversity and developing civil society, supporting democracy and combating disinformation, etc. The minimum cost of a project to be considered under this grant program is 10 thousand euros, however, for projects whose main purpose is the supply of goods and/or services, the grant will be up to 50 thousand euros, and if construction or repairs are planned works – up to 70 thousand euros. For projects whose main goal is to organize conferences, seminars, creative master classes, etc.), the grant amount will be up to 15 thousand euros. Applications for participation can be submitted by public and private institutions, non-governmental organizations, international and humanitarian organizations, and communities of Bulgarians in Moldova. Projects must be launched in 2025 and implemented until the end of 2027 at the latest. Applications for participation in the grant competition are accepted until July 31.
