The EU Confidence Building Measures program has announced a new grant competition for private sector development on both sides of the Dniester/Nistru River.

Two grants of up to $40,000 will be awarded to two business support organizations that strengthen collaborative relationships with academia, industry, government, civil society and/or the private sector to address inherent challenges and promote promising green business models or trade facilitation solutions to enhance the competitiveness of the business environment on both sides of the Dniester/Nistru River. As women, youth, active elderly, refugees or workers in the agricultural sector are particularly affected by multiple crises, they will not only be the target groups but also the ultimate beneficiaries of the development services provided by the winning organizations. Consequently, proposed projects should support businesses owned by or actively utilizing the vulnerable groups mentioned above. The deadline for applications is April 22. // 05.04.2024 – InfoMarket
