
Another 20 companies received grants of 8.7 million lei for digital innovations and technological startups.
The heads of 20 companies from different sectors of economy signed financing agreements within the Program for Supporting Digital Innovations and Technological Startups. The winners of the program, implemented by the Organization for the Entrepreneurship Development (ODA), will receive non-refundable financing totaling 8.7 million lei and will invest about 18.7 million lei in the country's economy. Most of the winning companies operate in the information and communications sector. According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, 14 companies that are already implementing innovative ideas in various fields have been identified under the Program for Supporting Digital Innovations and Technology Startups in 2023. In this round of the program, 110 investment projects were registered, of which 57 were recognized as semi-finalists in terms of innovation component. The program provides financial assistance of 500 thousand lei for small and medium-sized enterprises.
