
Moldova and Romania will expand cooperation to implement joint road infrastructure projects with EU funding.
This was discussed during a meeting that the Secretary of State for Road Infrastructure of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Nicolai Mîndra, held on Tuesday with his Romanian counterpart Irinel Ionel Scriosteanu. According to the Moldovan industry department, officials discussed the common priorities of the Moldovan-Romanian working groups regarding the preparation of our country for the EU accession process. The key topics of the meeting were the processes of financing infrastructure goals and amendments to legislation to facilitate the implementation of projects in this area. They also discussed the collection of data and the preparation of feasibility studies necessary for the implementation of infrastructure projects with European funding.
